Knut Hansen Dry Gin is a North German gin named after Knut Lier-Hansen, a Norwegian sailor whose bearded face is on the ceramic bottle. Created by Hamburg distillers Kaspar and Martin after a year of recipe work, it uses regionally sourced apples and basil from a family farm in northern Germany alongside juniper, and is distilled four times through low-pressure passages to keep the flavors delicate. It is bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof).
