Douglas Laing, the Glasgow independent bottler founded in 1948, builds Big Peat from single malts across Islay, including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and a touch of whisky from the legendary closed Port Ellen distillery.

Bottled at 105.6 proof (52.8% ABV), non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, the 2021 edition is Big Peat turned up: dense peat smoke, sea salt and bonfire ash on the nose, then a big, oily palate of smoked malt, lemon, honey and black pepper, finishing long, warming and thoroughly smoky. Each year's Christmas Edition is a one-time bottling, which makes it both a peat lover's winter dram and a collector's item. A perfect gift for the Islay fan on your list.

Buy Douglas Laing Big Peat Christmas Edition 2021 Cask Strength Islay Blended Malt Scotch online with fast shipping right to your door.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0756/0475/4685/files/douglas-laing-big-peat-christmas-edition-2021-cask-strength-islay-blended-malt-s_1.jpg?v=1792719701
https://favnaro.com/products/douglas-laing-big-peat-christmas-edition-2021-cask-strength-islay-blended-malt-scotch
